Viktor + Rolf // Shoe Porn: Christian Louboutin

Last month my friends and I visited the Viktor & Rolf doll collection at the Royal Ontario Museum. The designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren chose a garment from each of their collections to recreate in a miniature collection. It was so much fun to see a replicated mini version of when I've already seen on the runway.

The Christian Louboutin Exhibit took place at the DX Exchange where over 250 shoes, were displayed.  It was definitely a drool worthy experience and I felt really inspired after learning about the history of Christian and his road to success.

Hope you all enjoy the pictures and have a lovely weekend!

Studded Tulip

It's been a while since I've done a blog post even though I should have plenty of time on my hands.  My days usually consist of browsing the interwebs for job leads, reading motivational and self help books like Think & Grow Rich, getting my swag on in hip hop class, and mourning over the fact that Adam Levine is now engaged (I could literally hear hearts breaking all over the world). I'm also getting back in the swing of things by working on some creatives in hopes of adding new work to my recently finished website! You can check out my styling portfolio here!

Hope you're all having a lovely week!

Aztec Acid

I recently had an old friend from Vancouver come visit me in Toronto! It was so much fun to have someone back home come experience Toronto for the first time. We went to Niagara Falls, and my first Blue Jays baseball game! This is the outfit that I wore to Niagara Falls/ Maid of the Mist though it was covered by a flattering blue poncho half the time. However, I really did wish I had that poncho during the rainstorm in Toronto two days ago...nothing like walking around with damp underwear.

Anyways..Hope you're all having a lovely week!

Blue Ceramic

Let's be honest, many popular fashion or personal style blogs that we read, feature pieces that we could never really afford as a student (unless you get money thrown at you from various people, or a student who had a job that could pay for all these hefty purchases). I had neither. My recent status from being university student. to recent graduate. to unemployed starving artist, doesn't exactly warrant a spending spree. In order to save money, I limit myself to primarily sale merchandise.  I put this outfit together with the theme of looking fashionable without selling a kidney.

$7.50 Garage- chiffon shirt
$15.00 H&M- jeans
$8.00 Aldo Accessories- midi rings
$3.80 Forever 21- Spiked Ring
$5.00 Urban Outfitters- bag

*Gladiator Sandals- Nine West (They're from a couple years back but from what I remember they were under $20 at the outlet)
*Watch- Michael Kors (I realize this isn't really an inexpensive item. However you can save money by opening a credit card at Macy's and purchasing it at 20% off, Canadians get 15% off at Macy's)

P.S I also LOVE David's Tea. If you purchase a mug, you can get cold teas for $1 the whole summer!
