World Mastercard Fashion Week Day 1+2

Another fashion week in Toronto has come to an end.  Unfortunately, I was only there sporadically for the first 3 days as I'm currently in New York visiting the BFF. Here are some of my favourite designs for the collections I did see.  Out of all the shows I saw the first two days, my favourite had to be Melissa Nepton and Laura Seigel.  Their collections are always so feminine and flirty!

PS. All these summer and spring collections are making me wish it was summer already! Anyone ever wish winter would just magically skip a year?

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

The movie I've been working on has finally wrapped a couple days ago! This means that I'll actually have a life, and have time to brush my hair, tame my brows and do my nails. (It's the little things that count okay?) I'm absolutely ecstatic that I will soon join society once again.

These photos were taken a week ago when I was still working. (By the way, that messy wavy hair look was TOTALLY done on purpose). It's a super comfy and relaxed outfit I wore on my day off.  However there was one little internal struggle I kept having. I know crop tops are all the rage right now but how annoying are they really? If I'm not worrying about how bloated I look, I'm thinking about the food baby that I'll eventually have at the end of a meal. Maybe crop tops are only meant to be worn only in the mornings before lunch...

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

P.S I was recently featured on IVillage's post on Canadian Fashion Bloggers We Love! Go check them out!

Work. Sleep. Eat. Repeat.

These past couple of weeks have been absolutely crazy as I've been working on a Lifetime movie in the costume department as set supervisor.  The amazing thing about working in film is that you get to see amazing locations that you would normally not come across.  It's also far from glamorous. We shot in a cabin which was filled with beetles. At one point I even found one in my hair.

I found time to do this outfit post last week when I rejoined society for a day and met up with people in the real world.  I know every other blogger out there has this Zara skort, so one thing I would like to ask is...WHY are their sizes so big? An XS should not have a 30" waist. #smallpeopleproblems

Anyways, hope ya'll have a lovely week!

eShakti Review: Little men and Rooster!

eShakti recently reached out to me to do a review for one of their products.  They're a company that specializes in customized garments that are made specifically to your measurements. Some options include changing the neckline, taking out the pockets, or adding a longer sleeve.

I picked this dress because it was absolutely adorable and quirky. It had rows roosters and little men in top hats holding hands. How could I say no? It was also one of those dresses that can be worn during summer but can easily be transitioned into fall with a light jacket.

They currently have a couple promotions going on including 20% off introductory offer, $25 gift coupon if it's your first time ordering, and a buy 2 get 1 free promotion!

Hope everyone has a lovely week!
