Dark Paradise

I don't usually wear pink just because I feel like it's almost too feminine for me.  Most of my wardrobe consists of neutrals and a LOT of black.  However I couldn't say no to this floral silk top from Zara with such a cute peter pan collar and these high waisted from 3f.

Anyways, keeping this post short cause I'm off to my first Zumba class! Have a good weekend :)

Pants Annoy Me

One of the things that I absolutely cannot stand are pants that are hemmed incorrectly.  Maybe I'm just picky, or maybe it's because I used to work at a tailoring store, but pants that are hemmed incorrectly are the bane of my existence. If I took the amount of time I spent staring at pant hems (hot spots include the library, subway, restaurants, and the mall) I could probably knit a blanket for every homeless person there is in Canada.

 Top 4 Pant Peeves
  1. Jeans that are hemmed with the wrong color thread
  2. Jeans that are hemmed using the invisible stitch (What would posess you to do this? Have you ever bought jeans that were hemmed using the invisible stitch?)
  3. People who don't even bother hemming their jeans and just folds the excess fabric under. (That's the same method of how a kid cleans up their room, out of sight, out of mind.)
  4. When suit pants are too long/short (I know you young boys like to wear your pants down low and have it all baggy like you just came out of a rap video, but all it makes me want to do is cut off the excess fabric and hang myself with it)

All 4 of these pant hem lengths are acceptable for suit pants though I personally find No Break absolutely horrendous. They're short enough as it is, by the time you sit down for lunch they magically become capris.

Twilight Rays

Maybelline Color Show in Twilight Rays 240 has to be one of my new all time favourite drug store polishes. I absolutely love the dark base (I don't think it's black black but it's pretty close) with the gold glitters that are far from uniform.

There isn't as much product (7mL) as China Glaze or OPI but for the price you're paying, it's totally worth it! Plus how often do you finish a whole bottle of polish? It usually thickens and dries up before you're halfway through...

Tribal State of Mind

It's mid September and you know what that means! Tv shows are slowly coming back. One of my favourite shows right now is the X Factor because my girl Brit Brit is on it. Sure... she's heavily medicated and the only the facial expressions she has is fear and confusion, but I still love her!

What shows are you looking forward to this fall?
Hope ya'll had a lovely weekend!

Indian Summer

 A sea of people
Hard cold chairs, fluorescent lights
Hyperventilate

That was the Haiku of the day which was depicted my first week of school. Aside from uncomfortable chairs that make my butt hurt, florescent lighting that give me a headache, and horrendous outfits that I can't unsee (sheer blouse with bra, skin tight leggings with thong straps pulled sky high #trashyclothesforclassyhoes) it's been a great week!

Hope ya'll had a great first week of school! And for those who don't have school... go suck a duck.

(And I totally forgot to take a picture of my earrings, so here they are Instagrammed)

NfuOh 39

So it's officially the first day of school, but thanks to my nifty school schedule, I get Tuesdays and Fridays off this semester. There haven't been many (as in there there was a whopping 3) posts last month mainly because the BFF had been away on a trip. This blog really is a two woman job.

I have spent my time wisely by watching back to back episodes of White Collar. I didn't know much about the show or Matt Bomer but he is so beautiful it hurts. Sometimes when there's a close up of him I have to pause the video on my computer and look away.

Anyways! Enough about my undying love for a gay boy... Here's another polish I picked up when I ordered my other nfuOh online!
