Safety Plane

I have to say this ensemble isn't one of my favorite outfits. Just something comfortable that I threw on since I was at the beach styling for about 7 hours. However that safety pin shirt from H&M is my new goto top. Super cute and comfortable (except when it gets all static-y and sticks to me.

BTS- Scarbourough Bluffs

I styled for a photoshoot a couple of days ago at Scarborough Bluffs. The weather was amazing especially with that breeze coming in from the water. I may look stupid wearing boots at a beach but just an FYI it was a good 5-10 minute hike to get into that beach area AND the weather network said it was going to rain. Like always, the weather network is a pathological liar.

Too Hot to Handle

I've never experienced a heat wave like this in my LIFE. If it wasn't for my lovely AC, I'm sure I would have become a little pool of goo beside my computer. I'm already sweaty just thinking about the 48 degree weather (but would feel like 58. In other hot news, super hot Kate Upton graces GQ with cameos made by Ken Jeong. What can I say... these images are just Golden.

Crackle Frenzy Pt Deux- Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat

Last time I posted about crackle nail polish, I clearly remember saying "I'm SOOO over this, OPI, crackle, China Glaze crackle, crackle MADNESS". And here I am, posting about the Sally Hansen crackle nail polish I got when I visited Rite Aid in Pittsburgh. Is there anyway I can justify this? Perhaps it was the "wow I never knew Sally Hansen even had crackle nail polish" combined with the super awesome price that sucked me in. Those bastards.

Moving on...! I picked up the silver and gold crackle just because I felt like it was easier to pair with other colors. However, the pigmentation isn't very strong and requires a thicker coat if you desire a nice contrast between base polish and crackle polish. This results in less cracks and slower dry time which I absolutely have no patience for. All in all, Sally Hansen crackles were bit of a let down.OPI- Mermaid's Tears +Sally Hansen- Antiqued Gold

OPI- Here Again...Aragon Tomorrow + Sally Hansen- Fractured Foil

I'm SO over it. foreal this time.

The City of Bridges

2 weeks ago my mum came to visit me in Toronto. We decided to go on an impromptu road trip to Pittsburgh. It was really nice since I didn't know anything about the city and had no expectations. Pittsburgh's new and old architecture is absolutely breathtaking along with the gazillion bridges they have(446 to be exact).

I thought the lamp tilted over was the cutest thing ever.

Sinful Colors: Adventure Island

So I recently went down to the States and visited the closest Rite Aid. Like always, I attack the cosmetics aisle like I haven't eaten in a months when I see this.

Huh... when did Rite Aid Get so classy selling OP...wait a minute. That's right. Similar themes, colors, names, and display graphics. All for a $1.99 per bottle.

These two colors are a little off, but I swear they are dupes for Mermaid's Tears and Stranger Tides.

Seaweed and Open Tears

I don't know how I feel about this. If I knew about these before I purchased my OPIs and they were accessible for me, I think I would have bought them too. Only because I can buy 5 polishes for every 1 OPI and the consistency and color is pretty good. Yet it grosses me out that a company can't think for themselves and makes money by copying other brands. Thoughts?
