DIY: studded fanny pack

Urban Outfitters came out with a studded fanny pack a while back but could never imagine myself wearing one... that is until I started to put together my styling/on set wardrobe kit. Since it's always so crazy styling on location I thought I needed something handy to put all my double sided tape, scissors, etc while keeping my hands free. Anyways, I ordered a genuine leather fanny pack on ebay (you could probably find a nice worn in fanny pack from goodwill, Value Village or any second hand store) and the studs are from Spikes and Leather.

  1. I've always like the fanny pack (or bum-bag as we call it) I just always felt it needed to be updated, and you've done a good job!

  5. well done. i bought the urban version and ended up having to return it because the clasp was super weak. very disappointing! looks like your fanny pack is much sturdier :)

  6. That looks really good, did you get the studding kit from the same place? Is it easy to do? I'm keen to try it out a bit.

    The bag looks really good.
